Going in Anthony Bourdain-Style

Yellowstone words of advice: Make reservations! Most families plan their Yellowstone trip by making reservations up to a year in a advance. Do this, if you can … but don’t dispair if you can’t. By a slight miscommunication and change of circumstance, we ended up heading into Yellowstone without any reservations. We wanted to camp in the north end of the park at some first-come-first-serve campgrounds but we were too late. We ended up following the park’s regularly updated campground-availability boards and managed to squeak by nabbing a nice campsite with a view at Mammoth Hot Springs.

I loved Yellowstone N.P because we met nice rangers and got to see some geysers erupt.
